Jim Ryan is one of the best Real Estate professionals I have ever worked with. He knows Palm Springs and he was very good at knowing how to price our property and in estimating the amount of time it would take to sell it. In this very difficult market this is very impressive. Jim gave us a strategy for selling our condo which included an action and communication plan. He was very concerned about working with our schedule and our need to be involved or not be involved in the many details in selling our property. I especially appreciated that the set a time to speak with me once a week and give us an update on the status of the property and the activities in the prior week. He always shared the advertising, promotions, number of showings and the follow up on interested parties. When we did have an interested party, he worked quickly to determine level of interest and how to proceed. Jim kept us informed at every step in the process and he worked very diligently during the offer and final sale process. As with many sales in this market, we had a number of minor obstacles which he maneuvered quite well and got us to our final goal of a closed escrow. Jim made every effort to be an honest Realtor. He represented the seller, we did not have an agent when we met him at his open house, but we trusted that he would do a good job negotiating the deal that we wanted. We'd been looking at Palm Springs real estate for about three years off and on and we knew immediately, when we saw Jim's listing that it was the one. Jim did not disappoint. Jim Ryan has a great network of competent professionals who made our job (buyers) as stress free as possible. He works with a mortgage broker who helped us obtain the type of mortgage we needed. Jim, the mortgage broker, the escrow company and title company worked in concert, as a team, all helping us to close quickly and efficiently. We've never seen so much paperwork, due to new regulations, so all of our questions about completing forms were answered buy the respective parties immediately, as if we were their sole clients.
